Qantas puts wow factor in Premium Economy
Qantas Premium Economy travellers will have more personal space to enjoy on long-haul flights from October this year, when Qantas rolls out its next-gen Premium Economy seating on the B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
‘Game-changing’ new features include 10% extra seat width, 25% larger seatback in-flight entertainment screens, five storage compartments, an integrated pillow headrest and improved footrest.
The seats also feature personal LED lights and a unique recline motion where several sections of the seat shift to offer support as the seat reclines.
The 28 seats available in Premium Economy will be configured in a 2-3-2 layout, with the carrier saying they will stand apart from anything else in this class.
