ACU embarks on Ugandan study tour
At Campus Travel is it always rewarding and interesting to arrange group travel to a destination which is a bit out of the ordinary. So it was wonderful to collaborate with ACU to organise for a group of 20 students and three university leaders who were travelling to Uganda. The students from the university’s School of Public Health are embarking on a study tour in conjunction with Makerere University which is located in the country’s capital, Kampala.
The group, from ACU in Sydney and Melbourne, departed on 27 November and will spend 17 days in Uganda. Before the group left Campus Travel arranged for them to have a cultural orientation session, hosted by our partner - medical and travel security assistance company - International SOS. In addition, the Campus Travel team prepared an in-depth overview document with essential information about the destination – including attractions and tours, currency and language information, shopping and markets, and personal safety tips.

Getting familiar in Auckland
A group of lucky Campus clients and team members recently had the opportunity to get to know Auckland – and each other – a little better when they travelled together across the Tasman. The purpose of the trip was to see Auckland of course, but also to experience the unique service provided by our partner, Emirates. The group travelled in style surrounded by the luxury of the A380 business class cabin, while also soaking up the atmosphere of the Brisbane and Auckland business class lounges. Thank you to Maggie and the Queensland Emirates team for being wonderful hosts and for making this trip possible.
