Our Background

Campus Travel originated in Hong Kong in 1976, under the name Kistend Travel.

After 12 successful years in the academic sector, Kistend Travel broadened its global presence by opening its first Australian office in Melbourne, in 1989.

In 2002, the Flight Centre Limited opened its first academic travel office in Queensland, Australia. This was closely followed in 2003 with the acquisition of Kistend Travel, to later become known as KistendCampus Travel.

Since then, our expansion has seen us develop into the leading travel service provider to the academic sector in Australia. We have achieved this by providing a total end-to-end travel solution, supported by experienced consultants who provide highly personal service and have access to the most efficient booking and reporting technology available.
